Texas Association of Charitable Clinics (TXACC) also recognizes MHMC as achieving their Advanced Standards Level of Accomplishment

MHMC proudly announces that Texas Association of Charitable Clinics (TXACC) also recognizes MHMC as achieving their Advanced Standards Level of Accomplishment at the state level!

National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC) and TXACC both worked over the last few years to develop Operational Standards for members.  Even though both coordinate programs and activities both agree to recognize at the state and national level the quality operations of their members so both pursued their own standards programs.

Even though differences exist between TXACC and NAFC standards both contain enough cross over to have reciprocation in receiving a rating. While MHMC earned the NAFC 2020 Standards Gold Rating, MHMC achieved the Advanced Standards Level of Accomplishment from TXACC.

TXACC Standards serve a common set of characteristics that describe organizational competence, best practice, and quality of care in Texas free and Charitable Clinics.

Eleven categories comprise the TXACC Standards and structured as follows:

CORE:  Each category has at least one CORE standard and some have two with standards viewed as the most basic standards that need to be in place for a clinic to be operational.

ADVANCED: Advance standards are important components of high-performing, quality clinics within the context of the clinic’s mission and goals.

According to the information MHMC provided TXACC, our clinic qualifies for this Advanced Level of Standards Recognition!!  Although achieving this level is not an easy task, TXACC views this as a true representation of our commitment to delivering our mission with excellence.

Please join us once again in thanking the following for this wonderful achievement!
